4.4 Improve the Answer Through Conversation

Using AI is less like an exam with one submission and more like revising a draft with an assistant. A first round for structure, a second for facts, and a third for expression is a normal, effective process.

Each round should say what to preserve and what to change. “Keep the date and place, remove the repetitive opening, and turn preparation items into a three-item list” is more actionable than “make it better.”

Give actionable feedback

“Bad” or “not professional enough” expresses a reaction without identifying the problem. Actionable feedback locates the issue and names the desired change: provide a length for excessive text, identify the reader level for difficult wording, or supply a reliable correction for a factual error.

Revision can accidentally alter correct information. After every round, recheck names, numbers, dates, promises, and constraints. A satisfying tone cannot replace factual review.
