Terms of Service

Effective date: July 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Leaflet ("we," "us") governing your access to and use of Leaflet's website, courses, practices, interactive components, account features, Pro access, payments, and related services.

By creating an account, signing in, using Google sign-in, purchasing Pro access, checking an agreement box, or continuing to use account-required features, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use features that require sign-in.

2. Eligibility

Leaflet is intended for general learners, higher-education learners, and self-study users, not for children under 13. If you are under 13, or if your region requires a higher age threshold, you may use applicable features only with consent and supervision from a parent or guardian.

If you use Leaflet on behalf of a school, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization; otherwise, you use the service only in your personal capacity.

3. Accounts and Security

  • You may access public free content without signing in; account features may require email, password, verification code, or third-party sign-in information.
  • You must provide accurate, lawful, non-misleading information and keep important account information current.
  • You are responsible for protecting your password, device, email, and third-party sign-in account. If you notice unusual access, promptly sign out, change your password, or contact support.
  • You may not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account, or allow another person to use your Pro access to bypass access controls.

4. Learning Content and Practices

Leaflet provides course text, code examples, visual interactive components, quizzes, practices, hints, and reference solutions to help users understand concepts. We work to keep content accurate, clear, and current, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free, or suitable for every course, exam, work context, or legal jurisdiction at all times.

Practice questions, tasks, and hints should be free and public. Reference solutions, some advanced feedback, Pro interactive components, future AI assistance, or other advanced learning features may require active Pro access.

5. Pro Access, Payments, and Subscriptions

  • Pro access unlocks reference solutions, advanced interactive labs, future practice feedback, or other premium features. The account page shows your current Pro status and expiration time.
  • If paid plans are offered, price, duration, renewal, taxes, refund policy, and payment-provider terms will be shown before purchase or provided by the payment page.
  • Payments, subscription management, refunds, and invoices may be processed by Paddle or another payment provider. You agree that the payment provider may process payment information under its terms.
  • Purchasing Pro access does not transfer ownership of accounts, course content, interactive components, source code, brands, or intellectual property.
  • If a system issue, payment delay, or webhook sync causes access-display problems, contact support. We may need to verify using payment-provider records, order records, and audit logs.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not attack, scan, disrupt, load-test, interfere with, or bypass Leaflet's account, access, payment, security, course, or content-access systems.
  • Do not scrape, bulk download, mirror, resell, republish, or create a substantial substitute product.
  • Do not upload, submit, or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, malware-related, spam, or privacy-violating content.
  • Do not attempt to access other users' accounts, administrator privileges, payment information, system secrets, databases, or unpublished content.
  • Do not use Leaflet to generate, distribute, or assist activity that violates law, school rules, academic-integrity policies, or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual Property and License

Leaflet's interface, course content, interactive components, practices, reference solutions, graphics, brand elements, structural design, and software code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unless separately authorized in writing, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license only for learning and normal service use.

You may reasonably quote small portions for personal learning with attribution, but you may not remove copyright or brand notices or copy paid content or reference solutions for public redistribution, commercial training, model-training datasets, or competing products.

8. User Submissions, Feedback, and Support Requests

If you submit feedback, bug reports, suggestions, support requests, or other content to Leaflet, you retain rights you lawfully own in your content, and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to respond, fix issues, improve the service, maintain security, and fulfill purposes reasonably expected when you submitted the content.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, others' private information, confidential business materials, or content you are not authorized to share through practices, feedback, or support requests.

9. Third-Party Services

Leaflet may integrate Google sign-in, Resend email, Paddle payments, hosting, database, monitoring, and other third-party services. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and security practices. Leaflet does not control all third-party service behavior and does not warrant their independent terms.

10. Privacy

We process personal information according to the Privacy Policy. Before signing in, registering, using Google sign-in, or purchasing Pro access, you should read and agree to the Privacy Policy. If the Privacy Policy and these Terms conflict regarding personal-information processing, the Privacy Policy controls for that subject.

11. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may update, add, remove, or limit courses, features, Pro access rules, payment methods, sign-in methods, or page design to improve the service, fix issues, meet security requirements, or comply with law. We will try to avoid unreasonable impact on core benefits of paid users.

If you violate these Terms, create security risk, infringe others' rights, commit fraud, or abuse the service, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access, and retain relevant records when needed for security, audit, and dispute resolution.

12. Disclaimers

Leaflet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every user's specific goals. Courses, practices, and interactive exercises are for educational purposes only and are not legal, financial, medical, safety, professional-certification, exam-passing, or other high-stakes professional advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leaflet and its team, affiliates, providers, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential damages, data loss, lost profits, business interruption, unmet learning outcomes, third-party service failures, or losses caused by your independent reliance on learning content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leaflet's total liability related to your use of the service will not exceed the amount you actually paid to Leaflet in the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability; if you paid nothing, it will not exceed USD 100 or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Leaflet and its team, affiliates, and providers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the service, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful submissions, or violation of applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your location requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Leaflet is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before public operation, this section should be completed with the incorporation jurisdiction, court or arbitration forum, consumer complaint channel, and mandatory region-specific terms.

If a dispute arises, contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve account, payment, content, or access issues reasonably, honestly, and efficiently.

16. Updates and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date on this page reflects the current version. Material changes may be communicated by page notice, account notice, or other reasonable methods. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
